Turkmenistan and the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) explored opportunities to deepen practical cooperation, focusing on capacity building and legal aspects of intellectual property protection.
According to Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry, these topics were discussed during a meeting between Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova and the President of the Eurasian Patent Office of the EAPO, Grigory Ivliev, on Wednesday.
The meeting reviewed the current state and future prospects of cooperation, with plans for joint activities highlighted. Both sides underscored Turkmenistan's active participation in the EAPO, noting that it was the first country to join the Eurasian Patent Convention, the organization’s foundational document.
