January-April: Trade Turnover Between Turkmenistan and China Exceeds $3 Billion
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China totaled $3 billion 40 million 271 thousand in January-April 2026, according to China’s General Administration of Customs.
In April 2026 alone, bilateral trade between the two countries amounted to $809 million 873 thousand.
Turkmen exports accounted for the majority of the trade turnover. During the January-April period, Turkmenistan exported goods to China worth $2 billion 611 million 632 thousand. Over the same period, Turkmenistan imported Chinese goods worth about $428 million 640 thousand.
Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China totaled $2 billion 228 million 8 thousand in January-March 2026.
